What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, Matthew 3:15-17

We believe that a true believer is eternally secure, that we cannot lose our salvation, but that sin will interrupt the joy of fellowship with God and bring the loving chastisement of our Heavenly Father. (John 10:28-30, John 3:16, Romans 8:1)

We believe that it is the goal of every believer to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We believe that if you get “hooked on the book,(Bible) you won’t get hooked on the hook”. (John 10:10, Ephesians 3:20, Philippians 4:13, Psalm 119:11, 2 Timothy 2:15)

We believe in salvation totally through the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for us in answer to prayer offered in faith. (1Corinthians 15:3-4, Hebrews 9:22, Romans 10:9-10, 13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm103: 2-3, James 5:15)

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man; that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life, He taught and performed many mighty works and wonders, and signs revealed in the Gospels; that He was crucified, died for our sins, and was raised from the dead bodily. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the Head of the Church, intercedes for believers, and shall return in a personal, visible and imminent manifestation. (John1: 1-3, Matthew 1:18, 21-23, Hebrews 4:15, 1Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:11)
